Celebrate Shakespeare 400 and World Book Night

Please join Bury Libraries in celebrating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary and World Book Night. To mark both of these fantastic events – celebrated on Saturday the 23rd April -we are pleased to present Professor Jigget in two unique Shakespearean productions commissioned by Bury Libraries. In both a podcast and a video, Professor Jigget delivers extracts from two of Shakespeare’s plays in their original form and in his own modern translation. Please enjoy this gift from Bury Libraries delivered in Professor Jigget’s unique and hilarious style!

Click here to listen to an extract of The Tempest – three parts, one performer! Will Shakespeare ever sound the same again!
