Robin Reid – Author visit at Unsworth Library

A fantastic evening was had at Unsworth Library on the 8th of December with an engaging talk from Robin Reid – author of ‘Sam’ (a copy soon to arrive at Unsworth for anyone who would like to borrow).  Robin talked openly about his journey into writing, his inspiration, the writing process, dealing with criticism and the ultimate journey into the trials of getting your book published.

Throughout he was very likeable, funny and self deprecating, giving enticing hints and glimses into his book without revealing too much, I for one am keen to read it.

A cup of tea, some nice cakes, the company of lovely people and an interesting and engaging talk by a very likeable and witty author in a lovely library surrounded by books…..what’s not to like?
